PETER J. SPALDING is the author of the Chicago Fire novel 1871 as well as the Versailles Theatre books. His work also includes stage plays, screenplays, commentary, and poetry. He has been writing since childhood, including his first novel at age eleven. He is married and lives in Los Angeles.
