Like the first book, Break a Leg is told through the eyes of a young man.

RICKY DELMONT is now running his family’s wallpaper store. He has settled into the life of a small-business owner, and he hasn’t been back to the Versailles Theatre in years. But all of a sudden, a disturbing encounter forces him to confront his old life.

QUENTIN MORGAN, meanwhile, has stayed at the Versailles the whole time. Quentin has always been a hard worker, so he has kept mostly to himself. He hasn’t told anyone that he’s been carrying a secret of his own.

VICTORIA MACADAMS is an old flame of Ricky’s. The two had just had a brief fling years before, but when they reconnect, they find that they still have a spark. Victoria soon takes Ricky on a path he’d never expected.
